CVPilot (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information is processed, how it is used, and your rights.

CVPilot is designed to operate fully on-device.
No user data is sent to external servers
No backend, API, or cloud database is used
All processing happens locally on your device
We do not collect personal data such as email, name, or account information.
2. Locally Stored Data (On-Device Only)
The app uses local storage (AsyncStorage) to function properly. This data never leaves your device.
Stored data may include:
- Resume (CV) content (last used or cached)
- Job description text (last used)
- Draft CV data (builder feature)
- Analysis results and history
- Usage limits (e.g. free analysis quota)
- Subscription status (free / premium)
- App preferences and settings
This data is stored only to:
- Provide core app functionality
- Improve user experience
- Allow offline usage
3. Processing Purposes
All data is processed locally for:
- Resume analysis and scoring
- Matching CV with job descriptions
- Generating improvement suggestions
- Saving analysis history
- Managing usage limits and premium access
CVPilot uses a deterministic analysis engine, not a remote AI service. No external processing occurs.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
CVPilot offers optional premium subscriptions.
Payments are handled securely by:
- Google Play Billing (Android)
- Apple In-App Purchases (iOS)
We do not store or access payment details
Subscription status may be cached locally for app behavior
5. Advertising & Tracking
No ads are displayed
No advertising identifiers (IDFA / AD_ID) are used
No tracking or profiling is performed
No third-party advertising SDKs are integrated
6. Third-Party Services
CVPilot does not use external APIs, analytics tools, or cloud services.
All functionality runs locally within the app.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share any user data with third parties.
Because no data is transmitted externally, there is nothing to share.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device
Data remains until:
- You delete it manually (if applicable), or
- You uninstall the app
Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
9. User Rights
Since no personal data is collected or stored externally:
There is no server-side data to access, modify, or delete
You have full control via your device
10. Data Security
All processing occurs locally on your device
No data transmission over the internet
No external storage or exposure risk
11. Children’s Privacy
CVPilot is intended for users aged 13 and above.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
12. International Data Transfer
No data is transferred internationally, as no data leaves your device.
